What is body detoxification?
Body detoxification is a process whereby the body eliminates the toxic substances. The body can detox itself naturally, through use of specific diets or use of diet supplements. Detoxification is an important process in the body because without it the toxic substances can accumulate in the body leading to complications such as diseases or even reduction in the effectiveness in which the body carries out its metabolic processes.
Detoxifying the body using natural diet
When you decide to follow a detox diet the decision is determined by yourself, you should decide how long you want to stick to the diet and what you want to achieve before switching to the normal diet. It is important to know the substances to avoid for your toxic diet to be effective.

Alcohol ,Caffeine ,Drugs, Red meat and processed sugar should be avoided during your detox diet due to the various effects they have on the body when taken .This is necessary as their effects can lead to making the detox diet less effective.

There are different diets available for body detoxification. Here another issue of choice come in, you should chose the detox diet that is best for you Remember not all detox diets can be friendly to your body. Increase your consumption on vegetables and fruits
This is necessary because detox diet majorly flushes out toxins from your body. Having enough vegetables and fruits will help replace the space left by the toxins making your body even healthier.
Having some exercise during detox diet.
Doing exercise such as running and jogging during your detox diet is essential. This will ensure you sweat getting out more toxins from your body and improving overall fitness of your body.
Drinking a lot of water
Water is necessary during detox diet ,this is so because most toxins from the body will be flushed out using water as a medium.Take enough water and your detox diet will work smoothly and perfectly.

Whole grains
This is ideal during detoxification as it cushions the body against constipation or bloating which are common during detoxification.
Green tea
It contains catechins which are necessary for enhancing the speed at which the liver detoxifies the body beside increasing detoxification enzyme production in the body.
Ginger and garlic
Enhances detoxification by helping the liver in getting rid of free radicals in the body which contributes to toxins.
Artichokes
They are necessary in promoting health of the liver and the function of the gallbladder which plays part in detoxification.
Cabbage
When mixed with caraway and apples it helps in cleansing the liver.
Watercress
It is necessary in keeping free radicals out of cells in the body and help in liver enzyme cleansing.
Other foods important in detoxification include ;lemon water, dark leafy greens and fresh fruit.
